Hunting and the outdoors
How do you keep your gear?
Hunting in the wild and staying outdoors is amazing. I am a huntsmen and hiker, and as such I have a bunch of gear such as knives, lamps, torches, books, my camera and GPS. My most common issue is keeping my gear in one place while in storage in my garage or basement, and dry while on the move. The Light Weight Ammunition Case M2A1 is, as the old steel version, fully capable of keeping your items safe, but at only at a third of the weight. It will however, never deteriorate due to rust or leave traces in nature which i am very fond of.
What does the waterproof protection for your valuable item mean?
It’s (the LWAC) made to protect ammunition in storage for 20years, so the case is perfect for your gear. The waterproof case has almost 7 liters of space and the same dimensions of the old steel M2A1. It’s tested at a depth of 2 meters, making it perfect for boat hunting or fishing as you can safely drop it in the lake or sea. This mean i never have to worry about my gear or if i packed it correctly, set it in the right place, left far enough away from the shore and so on. I know when using it, that my GPS, ammunition and optics can be kept safe and dry at all times.
How do you travel with ammunition?
In accordance with ICAO and IATA regulations as specified in Article 220.127.116.11., ammunition in flight travel needs to be kept safe and stored correctly. Keeping the weight low in air travel is essential, and the LWAC low weight storage case can easily accommodate this, including a TSA approved lock. I will say however that you should always check with your airline of choice to be absolutely sure, but general guidelines can be found here: https://www.iata.org
